mikeworld, Auntie K, Michael Godek, Manuel
Wesser, micrgormit, thepinkangel, Wuuf,
andwat72, Digaum and any one I may have
missed thank you all for your kind words - it
has been a memorable 24 hours and all of you
were a part of it. Thanks for all the faves
as well. Special thanks to Chad for his help before
this photo was taken and for getting me over
some bumps along the way. He gives his
honest opinion and makes great suggestions! I cannot forget the grounds crew at the
Watermark Country Club - their tireless
efforts make this place look great. The
balance of the leaves came down today and as
I left for home that beautiful yellow pool
had been removed!
Perfect exposure and composition ..... I am still wondering how is this photograph's
dynamic range is so high.... I am still
learning how to get a well balanced exposure
for the landscape shot.
Congratulations! This image is currently (or
was recently) one of Flickr's Top 10 most interesting photos for
25 Oct 2006. (It is/was on page one of the calendar view.) Would you
please add it to the Top 10 Interestingness pool? It would be a great addition!
Matt, i don't give this out often, actually i
think this might just be the second one i
ever have; but you are so deserving of this
for this shot. You are my winner! Please add this photo to www.flickr.com/groups/mywinners/
I'll pile on. This is great. I'm a big fan
of dark skies and illuminated foregrounds,
and this is perfect. When I see "storm
light", I grab my camera! Great job.

and one hell of a picture as well.
One critique: open up photoshop or some other editor and get rid of that orphaned green branch on the left.
