had some time to kill before what turned out to be a way-too-rushed introduction to weblogs.ucalgary.ca.

Several classes were using this large lab while I was in there. I was surprised at the number of walk-in students who needed to quickly use a computer. I'd assumed everyone had a laptop...

btw, the acoustics of this lab absolutely SUCK, with instructors in each part of the open and shared lab having to shout to drown each other out.
