Cyclamen Flower Macro #2
Better Larger
The entire frame is about 9mm top to bottom; the inner, dark purple flower center is about 2.5mm across! This is my second focus stacking macro attempt for the same type of flower. This time, I tried to get a better composition of the central part of the flower. I also used controlled flash lighting; f/16; (SB-800, 1/32 + 1/3 EV power, about 6" away, flip-down diffuser only; eBay 4-channel remote). The flash made the individual shots sharper. I used 25 shots, combined with CombineZX. Same 50mm reverse coupled to 90mm lenses as the other shot. CommentsDoug Knisely (dormant)
