Hi!
I really like your photo! I currently work on a scientific essay that deals with the Beijing Olympics, written from my viewpoint as an art historian. I am on the look-out for good photographic material to go with the text, and I wonder whether I can use this photo? With your permission of course. I`m afraid I can`t offer you any payment, but I will credit you in the essay, which is going to be published in a Norwegian magazine called Replikk. In addition, an English version will be sent to the organizers of the 2008 Beijing International Art Biennale.
Hope to hear from you soon. My e-mail is:

thanks, even! I think there is no problem that you use it for a scientific essay.
BTW, I'm going back to Beijing very soon and will stay for 3 weeks, definitely I'm gonna take more photos. Maybe you could wait for a more up-to-date one :)
