Great tribute! What would we have done without this Dr.?

Great picture of the day! Love the choice of books...in English and Spanish! We will be going to read to the grade school kids for the next three days. Then I am treating our high schoolers to an author / college professor visit on Friday...all in honor of Read Across America!

What a nice tribute your picture is!

My children loved Green Eggs and Ham. I've always been partial to Horton, who "meant what he said and said what he meant" (Horton Hatches the Egg) while also recognizing that "a person's a person, no matter how small" (Horton Hears a Who).
