Car wreck Donegal

Kids saw this wrecked car by the roadside in one of the most beautiful parts of Donegal and staged this pretend accident to shock their mates.

Why isn't Donegal council quicker to clear up eyesores and hordes of litter that really spoil this beautiful countryside?

Donegal also happens to have one of the worst road traffic death rates in Ireland - only recently I lost two of my own direct relatives in a crash in the North of Ireland and know of a number of others killed over the years in Donegal or across the border in Northern Ireland. Why are accident rates so bad there?

Thanks Danny for posting to IT. Do keep such images and explanations coming (supported by words with time and place). If you are so inclined, send the URL of your image and this group to a local government or tourist agency (find contact address with search engine - though you may have already done that) and tell them politely tthat 'a picture is displayed of a dumped car (and some abandoned bodies!) in your area on INTERNATIONAL FLYTIPPING'. I like the reflection you have of flytipping as a sort of urban subconscious. Although my purpose was to display flytipping as a crime seeing these images and the creative game you've played here is leading me to more understanding of what flytipping reveals about us and the way wit may work better than whingeing.
