Conor Oberst is a lyrical genius.
For the Mortal Muses blog: This photo has various levels of meaning to me. The first, the words 'No Lies, Just Love' are a reference to the band Bright Eyes and the words of Conor Oberst. I have always loved his music and there is something special about a voice that can speak straight to your heart. His lyrics are more than inspirational and communicates nothing but an honest exemplification of life and the hardships we encounter. The second relates to the first, with my belief in living life without hate and without lies. 'No lies, just love' is the very moral essence of my life.
