My boy and his dog

Really heavy surf today. Winter is coming. The feeling of this photo is kind of strange because the memory of the roar of the waves is so fresh.

More colors than I knew

These little guys move so quickly that I've never seen one as clearly as in this shot. Very surprised to see the range of colors. This was a lucky shot. He let me get close right as the light changed from thick, dark fog, to high and bright fog in the late morning. We're 1 mile from the Pacific, so the war between sun and clouds is often fought right overhead.
