Seattle Times RSS Annoyance by djwudi

Seattle Times RSS Annoyance

Dear Seattle Times:

Would you please find some RSS-savvy geek to fix your "Local News" RSS feed (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/rss/localnews.xml) so that updates to articles keep the same ID, and show up in newsreaders as 'updated', instead of generating a new ID for every incremental little edit and cluttering newsreaders with multiple repeating entries to the same article?

Thanks much.

Carport Crunch 5 by djwudi

Carport Crunch 5

Watching our neighbors goof up.

Part 5: A couple days later, the repair work. Big jacks to push the roof back into place, hours of jackhammering and a bit of metal cutting to remove the damaged pole, and, eventually, a new pole and repaired carport.

Carport Crunch 4

Watching our neighbors goof up.

Part 4: A slightly better look at just how hard the pole was impacted. There's a nice vertical dent in the liftgate of the SUV, too.

Carport Crunch 3

Watching our neighbors goof up.

Part 3: Inspecting the damage, to pole and car. It's a little hard to tell because of the low light, but they hit hard enough that the pole pulled the carport roof down by about a foot or two when it bent.

Carport Crunch 2

Watching our neighbors goof up.

Part 2: Unfortunately, and probably because they were ticked off by the white car, they didn't pay enough attention when backing up, and backed up far too fast. Wham.
