Cool shot, I've been wanting to try something like this but we don't have too many roads with colorful lights like your shot, still you've inspired me to give it a go anyway

wow... thanks all for the comments! to answer a few questions....

tripod was wedged in the back seat... I got a new one for xmas, a Manfrotto Neotec 458b, with two legs in the back footwells, and the third on the seat, with the seatbelt wrapped round it. It was probably more secure than I was..

This is one exposure, sharpened in lightroom and that's about it... I took a few on the way home, I'll upload a few more in time!

Yep, I have a Seat... 1.9TDI Toledo. Dull as dishwater it is.. :-)

MrsL, yes, its a similar shot as the one on the website, but a lot easier to setup with this tripod!
