Parks Cemetery Ridge Confederate Memorial Plaza Dedication
The long anticipated formal Dedication of the completed Parks Cemetery Ridge Confederate Memorial Plaza became a reality on Saturday, April 17, 2010. A nice crowd of people came to celebrate the event in Trimble, Tennessee on a nice sunny day.

The Plaza has been erected on land donated by William Hamilton Parks, II; the homeplace his ancestors when the came to Tennessee. Thanks to all the hard work and dedication by SCV Camp 176 of Union City, Tennessee.

10 Confederate Soldiers are buried in the Pierce Cemetery located next to the Plaza. Seven headstones have been honored with 3 remaining to be located exactly where they are buried in the cemetery.

A nice ceremony was enjoyed by all in attendance. Thank You Mr. Parks for your undying devotation to the Sons of Confederate Veterans and your ancestors.

Special thanks to Teresa Moore for several of the wonderful photos.
