Continuing to play with Silver Efex Pro. Going for the vintage look again - somehow seems to fit with shots from India.

I loved the original color version of this, but I have to admit that this B&W version may be even better. The color version seemed to draw the eye to the diagonal lines. This one seems to emphasis the textures of the stone and broom. I think the vignetting makes it more dramatic too. I'm really liking this NIK!

I haven't had a chance to get out and shoot for quite a while, but I did get the entire suite of NIK software for Christmas so be warned - lots of older shots are going to get re-processed :) This first series is using various effects in Silver EFex Pro for black and white. I'm having a lot of fun using a different technique on each shot. This one is my favorite old B&W films - Ilford. Those were the days - and I guess they are again!

Extreme treatment I know, but I'm having fun playing around. There's something I like about the combination of Topaz on the trees, the "flat" quality of the telephoto and the color from Skeletal Mess's texture.

Again, somewhere near Viroqua Wisconsin.

I imagine if we'd been here in time to catch the color, the cornfield wouldn't have been harvested so we wouldn't see those great curved lines :)
