leila.jay, diyosa, ohgeo, mambo1935, Scuzzi, manaphotos and Photo_Freak - Thank you.

Joits - Actually, I chose Roscoe's for the lunch that day. Hehe

      cknlomein - It was delicious!

johnmai - I'd love to help select a place to eat for the next flickr meet. :)

rubicle - I love deep fried shrimp, but I've never had them with their heads still on. I've heard the heads are tasty, but the thought of eating them is a little unsettling. ;D

That 50 f/1.4 seems made for food photography, or you make it seem that way.

    16. disneymike (73 months ago | reply)

      CliffNJ - Thanks!

carpe icthus - I use my 50mm f/1.4D more than any other lens for food photography. The second favorite would be the 60mm f/2.8D Micro, but I like the shallow depth of field on the 50mm. Sometimes I do wish I could focus closer though with the 50. It's escpecially good when I take the photo with ambient window light like this one.
