BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad by disneymike.

A signature salad for California Pizza Kitchen.

Chopped lettuce, black beans, sweet corn, jicama, cilantro, basil, crispy corn tortilla strips and Monterey Jack cheese tossed together in our garden-herb ranch dressing. Topped with chopped BBQ chicken breast, diced tomatoes and scallions.

Disneymike, there is indeed a CPK in Cambridge -- I walk by it (and a Cheesecake Factory :-) on my way to/from work each day... I'll make a note to try this salad next time I'm there!

Very cool. I love the Cheesecake Factory too. I also recommend the Lettuce Wraps at CPK. I tried them today and found them very tasty. :)

mike, i have had the real thing...we have several california pizza kitchens in chicago...our cafeteria just doesn't have BBQ sauce down right, which is an important ingredient in the salad...seeing this photo makes me think i better go get the real thing so i don't forget what it's SUPPOSED to taste like!
