One of the highlights of the year in Doha is Dunestock! This day/night music festival features the best (and worst) of bands in Qatar and is a chance to get out of the city and into the open spaces.. This year there was a dust storm, but... that didn't stop the music, or the die hard fans..

We DO have a music festival in Qatar! Although you're right, it is mostly foreigners. A few Qatari boys turn up towards the end, but most of the people are foreigners and all of the bands are too. Its a shame that you don't hear about it, like a lot of events it isn't promoted very well. It's very fun, and it would be great if there were more Qataris there!
