Hitting the road to the beach. One of the quirky things about Melbourne is that even though the city is surrounded by beaches, to get to any kind of surf you need to drive. A friend of mine lives in Barwon Head and offered me a room at her house when I was back, so how could I refuse. So, my solo Road Trip began. An adventure containing wildlife, relaxation, action and inspiration.

This is the first step on the journey, the Geelong Road. Once notorious as a 'killer road' it has been sanitised and tamed with upgrades and speed cameras to be one of the most boring drives in Victoria.
