Yes,she finally ended up on the floor in one piece. I sort of helped her, but as I'm still bearing the 3 inch scratch from the last time she got stuck, I put on a pair of oven mitts. Seeing them approach inspired her to a successful descent.
The whole affair was so comical that Ruth and I were laughing hysterically. We have since had much to answer for, as Parsnip - like all cats - prizes her dignity..
