God Hates Sin

Many of the Art Festival attendees found the street preachers condemning shouts to be quite entertaining. This gentleman walked in front of the street sermon and started doing the white man dance. You know the dance where you swing your hips from side to side, rotate your hands at chest level and let you mouth go agape. One of the preachers quickly announced this man would be meeting with the red hot leader and put a sign in front of him declaring “God Hates Sin”.

Hi there, I'm a "Born-Again" christian. The sign is right, God does hate sin, but he loves the sinner. He loves the guy doin the white man dance just as much as he loves the guy holding the sign. He loves you and he loves me. He loves all that he has made. There is no room for superiority. I can't, no I don't have the right, to stand on a soap box and point a finger at anyone. the Bible says that we are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. I'm just saying, We should not judge, we are called by God to pray for every sinner no matter the sin. We all need salvation.

That is absolutely despicable the way they are portraying Jesus. Those are the few Christians that give all Christians a bad rap. They're the reason that there are an abundant amount of athiests, agnostics, and unbelievers. Looking at this makes me so sad since I am a Christian.

In Bhagavad Gita 5:15 , God said: "I am NOT in charge of the good things people do nor the bad things people do. Each person is totally in charge of his or her destiny. People are ignorant of the truth."

Since the concept of Sin is very vague in Hinduism, the idea of God punishing does not make any sense at all.

Each person is controlled by his or her own karmic debt. We can discuss with people about the good and bad things, but we cannot and we should not judge anyone.

Salvation is eventually achieved by anyone who searches after truth, irrespective of whteher that person is a Hindu or a Moslem or a Christian or a Jew or an atheist......

you,re missing it. these guys are not giving Christianity a bad rap
they are just doing what they feel is right
it doesn't matter if they are, or if they seem that they are overzealous
more than likely they are following their own convictions
they are just putting it out there and letting God deal with it
after all it is the Holy Spirit that convicts and converts
maybe if we were all as adamant about our beliefs in the things pertaining to God and Christ the sting of overindulgence in our liberties wouldn't hurt near so bad GIVITAWHIRL
