Hawthorn Cycling Club Criterium Series - Round 2

This is a collection of photos taken at round 2 of the Hawthorn Cycling Club Summer Criterium series here in Melbourne. It was one of those perfect Melbourne evenings and the event was going really well but was unfortunately cut short by a serious crash in which one of the riders was taken to hospital by ambulance. In case anyone's wondering: No, I didn't photograph the rider after the crash - this ain't Europe, I'm not Paparazzi and I'm not interested in broadcasting someone's pain on the internet. To the crash victim: I hope you recover quickly and can race again soon.
