Golden Lion Tamarin- They actually let them roam free outside among a small wooded area. Each Tamarin has a radio collar in case they decide to leave the area. Golden Lion Tamarins are very territorial, so they have not had any attempt to escape yet.
The Golden Lion Tamarin (Leontopithecus rosalia, Portuguese: Mico-leão Dourado) also known as Golden Marmoset, is a small New World monkey of the family Cebidae. Native to the Atlantic coastal forests of Brazil, the Golden Lion Tamarin is an endangered species and among the rarest animals in the world, with an estimated wild population of "more than 1,000 individuals" and a captive population maintained at approximately 490 individuals.[2]

I'm a fiber artist and would love to use this photo in an art quilt I'm making for a traveling exhibit. Could I get permission to do so? I would of course make note in my artist statement giving you credit for the picture. Thanks so much..I'll wait for your reply.

I'm a fiber artist and would like to use your photo of the Golden Lion Tamarin you have in your Flickr photostream. You can check my artwork on my blog: robbiespawprints.blogspot.com/
I would like to create an art quilt for an upcoming exhibit, the piece would not be for sale and you would be given credit for the photo as my inspiration.
Thank you!
