Acrylic- M-IMG_2625
One of the pieces for my BA Fine Art Yr1 assignment "Location". The set comprises 3 triptych's, one in oils, one in acrylics and spray paint and this set which is a combination of acrylic transfer, acrylic paint and spray paint. The theme is location, history, time, drawing inspiration from the window of a Tram Shelter on Blackpool's Promenade near North Pier. The plastic window in an advanced state of deterioration ravaged by graffiti, tagging, stickers and the numerous efforts to remove said vandalism, was almost completely obscured by a fascinating variety of marks. The window provides a clear indication of the location and the layers of history.
