Day 4 and it's been a busy one. Seems like she's a night owl just like her papa.

Not my favorite set up because I wasn't really liking the pillow but she needed it for a little support. Time to run to the store and buy some baskets.

I do however love her expression and that's worth sharing!

Just a few hours old here in this photo.

You guys were right, one of the best experiences life brings us. We're finally home safe and sound and everything is all well.

I went with available window light with this one. Bringing the strobist gear would be a bit much but it did cross my mind... ; ) Nothing fancy, just a simple beautiful shot of my lovely daughter.

And yes, she was born on my birthday and only within 3 minutes apart from the time I was born. Crazy right?

Prepare for the onslaught of strobist baby pics!! : )

Friends,

Today is my birthday and that's not even the important part. Nadia gave birth to my beautiful baby girl at 356 AM. Undeniably the best gift in the world.

She's weighing at 7.5 lbs and looks stunning.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind wishes through the months.

More long exposures with the new nikkor 17-35mm 2.8

Here I used a 10 stop ND plus a 3 stop reverse GND.

Converted to mono in LR3 beta.
