147/365 — The End
As most of you have already noticed, I did not upload project shots in the last few days. I came back from my holiday with tons of pics and I have images for each day, however I decided to quit the project today.
The main reason of my decision is the lack of time. The photos I took in the past months are accumulating in my library. I have time just to process the daily shot then go and chase the new one next day. At this rate it is not possible to think in photo series or photo shooting sessions.
It is something like if you would run the hundred meter race each and every day. You can not build your next stage upon the previous one since the clock starts from zero in each race. I recognized this months before, and started to take shallow snapshots instead of organizing photo shootings and making more serious images.
Having said that I enjoyed this journey a lot and I did not regret the moment when I started it almost half year ago, especially that I met a lot of great photographers here on flickr. Thanks for your comments and support. I'll keep my eye on you, fellow 2010:365 shooters.
For Hungarian readers, I wrote a less dramatic ending in my blog where my main excuse is the World Cup 2010 :) Check it.
