It looks like a normal rock, with some snow around it. But it's the summit of a mountain 1.290 m high, and the snow is Langjökull, apparently the 4th largest glacier in the world, 953 km2 if that means something.
Under Langjökull there are 2 or more volcanic systems. The calderas can easily be seen from the air (stay tuned...)
