    I have no idea who shot this amazing family portrait, only i know it's fantastic. The girl in the right is my grandma.

      i wonder what was on the other side of the room...it's amazing how your grandma is looking straight into the camera (as well as her mother - if that's her mother?) and the "boys" are looking somewhere on the right...you are probably your grandma's favorite :-) maybe that's where your love for photography and cameras comes from.

      if the girl on the right is your grandma, how old is this photo????
      there must be a photographer (or was it a daggerotype?) hidden under a huge black cloth, loading the camera with a plague of film....
