Lavender-Sunrise HDR B&W

Last week I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to drive an hour off to attempt to take some sunrise shots of a Lavender Farm about an hour away. I had fun, and even enjoyed taking some shots on the way back!

This shot was an HDR converted to B&W. I liked how the lavender popped, even though the blending was not as good around the trees.

Last week I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to drive an hour off to attempt to take some sunrise shots of a Lavender Farm about an hour away. I had fun, and even enjoyed taking some shots on the way back!

I just enjoyed the old blurred out farm house in the back ground.

Lavender Bee

Last week I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to drive an hour off to attempt to take some sunrise shots of a Lavender Farm about an hour away. I had fun, and even enjoyed taking some shots on the way back!

The place was of course swarming with bees to pollinate the lavender, and so I thought it might be fun to get out the macro and see if I could take any shots in full manual mode.

Last week I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to drive an hour off to attempt to take some sunrise shots of a Lavender Farm about an hour away. I had fun, and even enjoyed taking some shots on the way back!

This was on on the way back. I think I almost had a old lady call the cops on me with my flashers on right in front of her house while I took this shot.
