i made this video of the new red-tailed hawk who arrived in the flight cage last thursday. she is a magnificent bird. i can't tell you how enchanted i am by her.

She is recovering from an air sac injury, so there's nothing inhibiting her flying ability. I just have to be careful that her breathing doesn't get too labored.

Someone found her and called the raptor center. I can't remember where exactly she was found.
