Guns

There are police and army everywhere in Colombia and they all carry scary looking guns. But it is OK, they tend to be good folk and in all the times we had to show them our passports or chat with them for some other reason I was only shot twice. Ok, only once. Just grazed. OK, they never shot me or anything. From our experience Colombian police and military were always respectful and totally professional.
