Looking from my front room towards Marischal College and St. Nicholas House.
Marischal College was once part of Aberdeen University, but is now home to Aberdeen City Council (who used to reside in the grotesque concrete building in the middle of the picture).

Motor Room Woodhorn Colliery
The museum is rich with history, albeit, grim in many ways.
Well worth a visit if you go to the region.
