This is Crescent City Northern California just before christmas It wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Semilog

Hoover Dam Nevada Arizona Border. Taken with a pnoramic 6x17 wide format camera using document reproduction film for maximum clarity and developed in diafine for maximum tonality.

I wanted to upload this at its native resolution but flickr says its too big. Sorry Araaki.

About an our north of San Francisco. I dont know how I got this picture, suffice to say that I probably jammed the camera to the window and hit it, I dont think I even thought about how empty the road was at that particular moment, but it was, and it looks like I may have to turn out the lights.

These negatives are just too big to scan individually.
The second image is an accidental double exposure; one of the learning curves of shooting with a Fotoman 6x17 camera. I quite like it, I think its pretty cool.
Hoover Dam is just amazing, Id love to go back with a parabolic mic and an array of contact mics to record all of the crackling electricity flying around..
