the yahooization of flickr continues.
while we all do accept yahoo's human rights violations as a part of the system when sending
our checks out for pro accounts, at the same time german users get
their pictures blocked if they are classified -- regardless of what their browser filter
tells them.
another brandnew change was the silent abolishment of the convenient paypal option yesterday. for a pro account you'll
now need to deposit your credit card details on a yahoo server. i have
no need for a credit card, and i'm certainly not going to get one.
goodbye flickr. welcome to yahoo.

No one killed Flickr - they simply committed suicide.
"Old Skool" webbys bought sweet web freshness when they bought Flickr, and now they're about to destroy it.
Before the Flickr purchase, I had no connection to the Yahoo empire other than a Yahoo account for spammy mail.
Yahoo better wake up quickly and try to understand why Flickr works. Yes, they can/should manage outright pornography, etc, but otherwise they need to get out of the way and let the community succeed and ride along with that success.
Yahoo, concentrate on the usability issues and let us concentrate on the content.
