After getting the sales tax increase shot down (we are at 8 ¼% and they wanted to raise it to 9 ¼%) Erie County Closed all the parks to strong arm the public! Let me just point out that the park workers are still employed and working in the parks...there is just no public access...does this make sense to anyone? I also wonder how much they spent on the "CLOSED" signs for all the parks...they seem to have found that money in the buget.
PS...the following duck shots were taken while I risked my life & freedom, trespassing in this park, I hope you enjoy them....

	Shane T says: Here in Nova Scotia the sales tax is 15%. This is somewhat of an improvement since we had been paying a 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and then 10% Provincial Sales Tax which was applied to the cost after and including the GST, which worked out effectively to be 17.7%. However, the new 15% sales tax (called the Harmonized Sales Tax) is applied more broadly. Posted 38 months ago. ( permalink )
