unbuttoned.

unbuttoned.

I've kind of been slowly "unbuttoning" my life lately and thinking a lot about why I am the way I am.

My mom has told me over and over again, "It's not the years, it's the mileage" and that I've lived a much longer life than a lot of the people around me.
I feel like I've been through so much that it actually makes me angry that I'm only 20 years old because I feel SO much OLDER than that!

It's making it almost impossible for me to find anyone I would even consider dating - because my brain is one of the craziest places that exists (with the exception of people who drop acid, obviously).

Upon analysis of my brain, I have realized the following:

I am nuts.

If you know me, you know I'm not very girly but that I carry around a Lilly Pulitzer planner. And that bad grammar turns me off almost instantly. You'd know that I love rap...and wearing cardigans. And that I Reddit consistently (yeah). You'd know that I can't live without spending time alone with my camera or writing once in a while (and part of the reason I'm so stressed at school is because I don't have time for my camera).

I am constantly thinking - about everything. I dive into things headfirst and if I'm not 100% from the beginning, I never will be. I observe and notice almost everything that goes on all the time. I believe in signs, angels, old souls, subconscious, and all kinds of other things that would make you think I'm crazy.

"Unbuttoning" myself has made me realize that I am SO WEIRD. And finding someone willing to take on the challenge that is ME is a whooooole 'nother ballgame.

I am organized chaos. And I will surprise you.

A Firenze

A Firenze

I miss this place more than words can say.

And I miss the permanent artsy mindset I had while I was there.

Man is a dog's best friend.

Man is a dog's best friend.

Dante came home from military school for Christmas and New Year's.
I think Dundee missed Dante more than Dante missed Dundee.

I dabble in cross dressing

I dabble in cross dressing

I tried to make a list of things I wanted to photograph on my 6 week break.

Two of them were me as an "old person" and "guy."

So, I combined them. I started out trying to recreate my dad in law school. These are actually his law books, glasses, button down, and tie.
but I ended up just looking like a dirty computer nerd.
or kind of "pittsburgh Dad" if you've heard of it (youtube.com/pittsburghdad)
