Hey Scott - hope you are OK.

Of late I have not been commenting on people's streams and as Flickr is a ''two way street'', I am disabling comments.

Kinda pisses one off when you go to a place to take photographs and watch all the colour develop just south of where you are... oh well.

My Rant...

My last three images have been on Explore. The amount of flashy invites, generic comments, cut and paste comments that one gets is just a load of shite. The amount of people out there that just run through Explore and post one dimensional comments is just phenomenal, and to think that they do it just to entice you to go and give them a comment - bloody attention seekers.
Having an image on Explore is more maintenance than anything else.
Now - I know some people enjoy all that ( lop-sided ) attention but I specifically state in the description that those kind of comments will be deleted yet people still post them - that proves to me that some people do not even look at the image, just belt through Explore and paste their crappy comments.
Thank goodness that over the years one has built up a base of genuine Flickr mates and one can always rely on their honest opinion and comments.
