Christmas Breakfast: Stuffed French Toast

I'll take this one, please.
Christmas Breakfast: Stuffed French Toast by John Suder.
I've been making this every year for Christmas breakfast for quite a few years now. Take 2 pieces of bread, slather cream cheese on one side, fruit preserves on the other (i use a few different flavors, like strawberry, peach and pineapple). Put 'em together like a sammich, and prepare like ordinary french toast (don't forget the vanilla extract and cinnamon). Cut in halves, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve wth copius amounts of bacon. And coffee. Yum.
