Comhaltas' Midwest Region held it's Irish Music Hall of Fame dinner and ceilí Nov 4, 2006 at the Gaelic League in Detroit.

The 2006 Honorees consisted of:
- Phil McGing and Michael Kennedy, Cincinatti - Riley Branch.

- Jack Denihan of the the Francis O'Neill Branch, Chicago.

- Breege Kelly and Frank Edgley of Detroit Irish Musicians Association.
