Detroit Zoo Watertower

The Detroit Zoo originally opened in 1883, and moved to this location in 1924 ( but not officially opening until 1928 ) . Located in Royal Oak Michigan , a suburb of Detroit. You don't realize how big this tower is until you look at the full-grown trees below.

Years ago a book was written about the take over of Bendix Corp up in Southifled. I think the book was titled, Exit at the Zoo. The title came from the sign to exit on the Lodge to get to the Bendix HQ.

That's not paint. it's all done on digitally-printed vinyl. Even more expensive.

You are correct - the main part ( but not the whole tower ) is a vinyl wrap done by Grafika. When Kwame was elected Mayor they elected to paint the new name onto the vinyl. :D
