The view of southern Kunming and the Dian Chi from the Xi Shan. The elevated highway seems to have stymied quite a few lakefront views- riding underneath you can't help but notice a sense of decline in the adjacent properties, which seemed to be fairly sought after until recently, with large lawns and impressive (yet dowdy) 1980s style buildings.
