Bat Yam Landscape Urbanism Biennale: The Neighbor's Lawn

Designed by: Els Verbakel, Elie Derman The Neighbor’s Lawn installation offers a platform for bringing together residents of old apartment buildings at the city's entrance and visitors to the Biennale. The upper level blends visually with the apartment's balcony, merging with a green field. The lower level faces the street and features an artificial forest, with a labyrinth for kids and their visitors to play in. It also provides benches for those who prefer to sit, watch and talk.
