This was a fun painting to create...it just evolved before my eyes.

I wanted to take a moment to say I am moving to Las Vegas, Nevada and have been quite involved with making the move and haven't posted lately. I will be off line for a few days, but I will be back soon.

Hope you all enjoy this painting as much as I did painting it...it has a new home and the new owner is delighted...and that is always fun, also!

I just finished this painting...the paint isn't even dry yet. I haven't painted for awhile so this is a quick little painting which I hope will prime my creative juices to get flowing again. I had fun doing it!

This photograph was taken in January 2007 in Topanga Canyon, California.
I love the bark of this beautiful tree and I couldn't resist capturing it with my camera and now I couldn't resist sharing it with you. This tree, incidentally, is on a bank of a dry creek bed and you can see the rocks in the background. I like the textural contrasts.

This was done in an all day painting seminar...working with a limited pallet as you can see. It was a fun experience. I hope you enjoy it...I think it glows!
