I like this picture because:
- composition is extraordinary: 2 panels, the left one cut in half to frame the cat; the cat looks at his master who looks to the right; the right panel is empty
- face is half hidden, yet it is a portrait
- the difference between the left and right texture
- the light gradient
- the originality and sophistication of this picture
