This is not so much about the pictures, but more about expressing my amazement. ;)

Have you ever watched a blue tit (parus caeruleus) desperately trying to get into your house through several closed windows? This little birdie spent one and a half days with nothing but banging against panes again and again... very strange.

But at least now I know where that figure of speech comes from. ;)

Wir haben noch so ein ähnliches Gestrypp an einer anderen Hauswand. Darin hat es vorletztes Jahr eine Meise offensichtlich geschafft, sich in direkter Nähe ihres Nestes zu verheddern. Ich glaube, die hängt da bis heute noch.
