Ferdinand Buildng 16 May 2008

Mayor Menino and other elected officials came to Dudley Square to tout the beginning of renovations to the Ferdinand Building. When the speeches were over, I made friends with a couple of the construction workers and was allowed to stand in some of the doorways to take pictures of the interior. Since it's a hard hat area, I was also given a commemorative hard hat with the seal of Boston on it. That was, perhaps, the best part of the experience.
