Das Urania-Gebäude wurde 1909 nach den Plänen des Jugendstilarchitekten Max Fabiani, eines Schülers von Otto Wagner, an der Mündung der Wien in den Donaukanal erbaut und 1910 von Kaiser Franz Joseph eröffnet. Benannt wurde sie nach der für die Astronomie zuständigen Muse Urania. Der niedrige Kassenhallenzubau stammt aus dem Jahr 1935, der Architekt ist jedoch nicht mehr bekannt.

Die Peterskirche ist eine römisch-katholische Kirche im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
