I love my little X100

The Laundry just won't dry on the line now with the permanent rain, so we decided to have a little stopover at the Laundromat last night. Rudi loved all the machines and little flashing lights and buttons...

It's been raining straight now for almost a week. As good as zero sunshine and really dark days. But hey, the temperature is awesome 24 degrees.
I just did a little jog for about 4km and it felt great running in the drizzle and feeling the cool breeze.
On the downside, some parts of QLD are badly affected again as the rivers rise, flooding seems to be a pretty common phenomenon here in Jan/Feb. When I was here on a business trip last year in Jan, a really big flood hit the city as well.
Oh well, we are putting the feet up and wait for the summer to come back.

This friendly gentleman was offering free chess. What's odd about it is, that he is standing in one of the lots reserved for the Sunday Farmers Market at the Virginia station.
Also as soon as I raised my camera he started posing and making faces. My son was very skeptical and didn't dare to go close.

I know Brent from the Fathers Playgroup I join with Rudi every saturday. Brent is studying early childhood education in Brisbane and must be almost done with his degree. He is running the playgroup every Saturday, spending a lot of time and efforts building a platform for fathers to hang out with their kids and chat together, he is very passionate and sure knows how to interact with children as well as with the parents. He has many useful tips and I think he will make a great father himself one day.
