|31/52 - the eternal battle of good vs. evil|
The thirty-first entry for my 52 weeks project here on Flickr.
And finally I got my ridiculously long title *g* Had some alternative titles in mind. Like "duel" or "who's your daddy?". But I thought I'd stick with a more philosophical one this time. I've noticed that, regarding my 52 weeks project, I've stuffed myself into the "hilarious guy" drawer. I noticed the funny images were the more noted ones so I kept on doing them. But what I lost on the way was my urge to create some more serious, cinematic shots I had in mind for quite some time. So I thought: to hell with funny! It's my project, so I do whatever I want!
As for this picture, I'm not 100% satisfied with the outcome. But I've played around with it for so long now that I've simply grown tired of it. And at some point, it just doesn't get any better. This one goes out to all the Star Wars nerds (like me) out there. I hope you like it despite its flaws.
Sorry for being such a lame ass contact lately. But I'm on a one week vacation and I try to avoid my PC the best I can! :-)
Please press "L" to see the full scale battle.
Camera info: ISO 200, 25 mm, f/8,0, 1/200 Sek.
Stock: Blue corridor background
Strobist info: One flagged LumoPro LP120 at 1/4 power zoomed to 28 mm from back left and right for rim. One Yongnuo YN560 at 1/2 power zoomed to 35 mm shot through a Westcott collapsible umbrella from high left/right. All flashes were fired by Cactus V4 radio triggers. Camera was fired by a Cactus V5.
