So the photo opp was just awesome. I was walking the streets of Rome and stumbled upon the fact that the manhole covers bore the initials for the original Roman Republic that was used on the standards of the Roman legions. S.P.Q.R "Senatus Populusque Romanus" (the Roman Senate and People)
