Obama, The People's Choice
Vintage 1960s (Enid) Collins of Texas box bag. It's a donkey - the symbol of the Democratic Party - with the title in bottom left corner "The People's Choice". I assume this dates from either the 1964 or 1968 US election? I meant to sling it onto eBay in time for a chic delegate (or even Michele Obama?!) to bid and wear it at the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month. Seems a shame for it to be in London instead of Denver. Europe is rooting for you Obama!
