Accident on Lakeshore 2
350D f/8 1/160 ISO 200 handheld @ 48 mm
On the way back from the Distillery District yesterday our streetcar was stopped because of an accident. After talking to one person I found out that it was a motorcycle accident hitting a car. The man on the ground weighs 320 pounds and was unconscious on the scene. There was a crowd gathering around as the medical staff raced to save his life. I watched for it on the news but I never heard anything. Anyways, drive safe~
Note: People have been questioning whether or not I should be posting these photos or not. I have not shown the man's identity at all, and will not out of respect. The accident is a horrible horrible thing, and maybe this photo can be a reminder to others to watch out for motorcyclists on the road.I did not interfere with any of the personnel and me taking photos does not lower the chance of his survival, it only raises awareness. Look what can happen on Lakeshore, a street that doesn't even have high speeds.

Interesting shot. I haven't heard anything in the news about that either. Hopefully no news is good news! From 1-2-3.

He and/or his family might like to have a copy of this photograph. You could tell the police department you have some shots. I've had someone get a copy of a photo that way (was used in local newspaper).
