rising elegance

Did a little road trip with some friends this weekend Vinny, Mehrdad and Aaron First stop was venturing down to Rowena (Oregon) for sunrise with a large group of Pacific NW Flickr photogs. It was such a pleasure to finally meet so many of you talented folks in person :)

Second leg of the journey was to the Palouse hills in eastern WA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palouse_Falls We drove to Palouse Falls with high hopes for a magical sunset. As you can see, we were very blessed indeed :) I decided to focus more on the sky than the river in my comp this time around. I should also have a Palouse hills shot to post one of these days, but don't hold your breath :)

Trying to make a common rural scene a little bit artistic :)
